Rotaract Club was established in College. The Chief Guest on this occasion was Shri Sunil Bansal, Secretary BGI and the Guest of Honour was Rtn. Alok Billore. While addressing the students, the chief guest emphasized the need to help in the upliftment of the people belonging to lower section of the society. Addressing the members of Rotaract Club, Shri Billore urged them to help in the social causes like containment of fatal diseases by developing awareness among people, benefits of tree plantation & good sanitation, abolishing the practice of discrimination between boys and girls. There upon, Rtn. Dr. Nalini Lengar presided over the oath ceremony and administered oath to Sagar Rajput as President, Anurag Geete as Vice President, Ankit Kundle as Secretary and Divya Yadav as Treasurer to abide by the objectives of the Rotaract while conducting the activities of the club. The efforts of Rtn. G. K. Sinha , the president of Rotary Club, Bhopal Central were appreciated by one and all for initiating and choosing KCBCT, Bhopal for establishing the Rotract Club. Treasurer BGI, Smt Pooja Bansal, Shri Sanjay Jain, Dean(P&D) BGI graced the function. Director KCBCT, Prof. H. B. Khurasia was specially thanked by the students for making it possible to have the Rotaract club in KCBCT. Over 200 students attended the installation ceremony including over 35 members of the Rotaract Club.
Expert lecture on "Anatomy of Success" (11th June, 2010)
Rotaract Club of our College organized expert lecture on "Anatomy of Success" delivered by President Rotary Club, Bhopal Central, Former DGP Rtn. Shri G.K.Sinha on 11th June, 2010. In his lecture, he said, "The worst bankrupt in the world is the person who has lost enthusiasm." He advised students to be always enthusiastic. Dean (P&D) BGI, Sanjay Jain, Director Prof.H. B. Khurasia, Director BIRT Dr. S. C. Soni, Principal KCBCT Dr K. K. Patel graced the occasion.
Organisation of Blood Donation Camp (07th September, 2010)
Rotaract Club of our College organized a Blood Donation Camp with the help of Hamidia Hospital Blood Bank, Incharge Dr U. M. Sharma and his expert team. Dr U.M.Sharma said anybody aged 18-60 can come forward to donate the blood. Dean (P&D) BGI, Sanjay Jain in his address said that blood donation was not just important for saving someone's life but it was important for one's self-satisfaction also. Along with the faculty members 60 students donated blood . On the occasion Director BIRT Dr. S.C. Soni, Director KCBCT Prof. H. B. Khurasia, Principal KCBCT Dr K. K. Patel, Prof. B. R. Nayak, Rtn Dr Nigam were present. Rtn Vilas Hasthak & Rtn. S. C. Agarwal congratulated the students for organizing the camp. President Rotaract Club KCBCT Sagar Rajput, Vice-President Ankit Kundle, Treasurer Divya Yadav were actively involved in making it a success.
Nukkad Natak on Literacy Day (08th September, 2010)
Rotaract Club of our College staged a "Nukkad Natak" on Literacy Day in Kokta, Anand Nagar village. The purpose of this nukkad natak was to spread awareness against illiteracy. It was emphasized that education was extremely significant to know our rights and abolish social evils. Later on a small function was organized in the seminar hall in which former President Bhopal Central Rotary Club, Rtn G. K. Sinha, Rtn Shukla & Rtn Dubey addressed the students. Director BIRT Dr S. C. Soni, Director KCBCT Prof. H. B. Khurasia, Principal KCBCT, Dr K. K. Patel, Prof. B. R. Nayak, President Rotaract cub KCBT, Sagar Rajput, Vice-President Ankit Kundle, Treasurer Divya Yadav were actively involved.
Members of Rotaract spent their one day among elderly people living in Anand Dham Ashram. Club members interacted with them and presented them rose buds .They sang songs for them & interacted with them to learn from the lessons of life. In the evening all the club members participated in the evening pooja with them and took leave of them with promise to visit again soon. On this visit, Rtn Bhopal Central S. C. Agarwal & Mrs Agarwal, Rtn Matharani were present and addressed the rotaractors. President KCBCT Rotaract club Sagar Rajput, Treasurer Divya Yadav, Sectretary Ankit Kundle and other club members were present. Later on Director KCBCT Prof. H. B. Khurasia and Prof. B. R. Celebration of World Peace Day (21st September, 2010)
Rotaract Club of KCBCT celebrated world peace Day on September 21, 2010. Director Prof. H. B. Khurasia was the chief Guest on this occasion. In his address, he told, "The International Day of Peace, also known as the World Peace Day, occurs annually on September 21. It is dedicated to peace, or specifically the absence of war, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone. It is observed by many nations, political groups, military groups, and peoples. To inaugurate the day, the "Peace Bell" is rung at UN Headquarters. The bell is cast from coins donated by children from all continents. It was given as a gift by the Diet of Japan, and is referred to as "a reminder of the human cost of war." The inscription on its side reads: "Long live absolute world peace." he further added that students should take pledge to maintain peace and harmony not only in college but outside also. President KCBT, Rotaract Cub Sagar Rajput, Vice-President Ankit kundle, Treasurer Divya Yadav and other club members enthusiastically participated.
Vocational Training Programme (12th October, 2010)
College Rotaract Club organized a Vocational training programme in which Director Knowledge Kingdom Ms Mani Mishra was the key speaker. She delivered a lecture on 'Education abroad'. She told that many students in India had a dream to complete their education abroad, according to a recent article in the Globe. Employers prefer the candidates with foreign education exposures, as it gives an edge in the "race for talent". Mr Parijat Chandra Pathak, Director, Matrix Consultancy also delivered lecture on "How to Improve the Placement Skills". Secretary Rotary Club, Bhopal Central Rtn. Ajit Raizada, in his address emphasized the need to have education in abroad for extensive and broad knowledge. Rtn Bagchi & Rtn S. C. Agarwal also addressed the members of the club. Director KCBCT Prof. H. B. Khurasia thanked the speakers and Incharge Vivekanand Library, Bhopal Mr Mishra for proactive help in organizing this programme. All the faculty and students including K. C. Bansal Rotaract club enthusiastically attended the training programme and participated in question answer session also.
