Professor (Dr.) H.B. Khurasia, Director, KCBCT is a graduate in Mech. Engg., followed by M.Tech. degree (NIT, Durgapur) & Ph.D. from MACT (now known as MANIT), Bhopal University. Dr. Khurasia has long and distinguished career in teaching, research and administrative fields spanning over 40 years at Maulana Azad national Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He worked at MANIT in various capacities like Dean (Admin), Dean (P&RG), Dean (HR), Head (Mech. Engg.), Head (Training & Placement) etc. He has published more than 45 technical papers in National & International Journals of high repute. He is a recipient of two gold medals & one certificate of Merit for the best papers published in the Journal of the Institution of Engineer (I). He has guided several Ph.D, M.Tech. Theses & various research projects. Professor Khurasia has also worked in the faculty of Engineering & Technology University of Ilorin, Nigeria for 3 years (1979-1982) on foreign assignment. He has been actively engaged & participated in the activities organized by the Institution of Engineers (I), M.P. State Centre in various capacities like Chairman, Hon. Secretary & Council Member.
